December marks the last month of Charcoal Thursdays and 5-Sketch Sundays, as I will be working hard on my prized graphic novel project Rune starting January first. I still plan on doing PokeMondays; however, I will be taking a hiatus from those as well.
In the past, I've set deadlines for myself with comics, having no idea whatsoever how long it might actually take to complete pages or editing. That causes unnecessary stress and feelings of failure.
Instead, I've decided (particularly since I also have a day job to maintain) to keep a planner, writing down what I've done instead of what I plan to do. Looking back on all my hard work should be much more motivating.
To keep me from slacking off, however, I had to set some sort of guidelines for my work. I'm familiar with the editing process, so I've set a deadline for that, but everything else... well, take a look below.
